Brief Description

Secure Adhoc Fire & Emergency safety NETwork (SafetyNet) is a Technology Strategy Board funded project which provides a wireless sensor network for fire protection and emergency responses.

It is formally started on 1st July 2006,and led by Data Cables Services International.

The project budget size is around 1.3 million pounds over three and a half years, 50% funded by Technology Strategy Board and the rest contributed by the industrial partners.
